The annuity is a "serious money" accumulation plan that benefits almost everyone...from people with tax burdens seeking relief to people seeking financial security for the future. You can take annuity accumulations in a lump sum or as a guaranteed lifetime income for you and your spouse, payable at specific intervals you choose.

Premature withdrawal may be subject to a penalty tax plus ordinary income tax. In addition, there are early withdrawal charges on contributions made within 10 years. This is why we call the annuity a "serious money" accumulation plan.

The annuitant may with draw a maximum of 10% of the accumulated cash value in any single year without accruing surrender charges.

Surrender charges shall only apply to that amount withdrawn in excess of 10% of the accumulated cash value.

In each contract year, the annuitant may withdraw the accumulated cash value of the annuity, subject to no surrender charges, if: the annuity renewal interest rate is in excess of 2% less than the interest rate that was earned in the prior 12 months.

Annuity surrender charges are calculated as a percentage of accumulation values.
